With support from ISO/TC176, the International Automotive Task
Force(IATF) and Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association(JAMA)
prepared ISO/TS16949:2000, i.e. Quality management systems—Particular
requirements for the application of ISO9001:2000 for automotive
production and relevant service parts organizations. The 2002
revision has adopted the content and structure of ISO9001:2000
which promotes a “process approach” to developing, implementing
and improving a quality management system. ISO/TS16949 certification
has become one of the fundamental requirements of automotive OEMs
for supplier’s quality system. Some of the benefits of the IATF

清洁生产审核是一种对污染来源、废物产生原因及其整体解决方案的系统化的分析和实施过程，其目的是帮助企业通过实行污染源预防分析和评估，寻找尽可能高效率利用资源（原辅材料、能源、水等），减少或消除废物的产生和排放的方法。
清洁生产审核是企业实行清洁生产的重要前提，也是其关键和核心。
通过清洁生产审核，可达到如下目标；

核对有关单元操作、原材料、产品、用水、能源和废物的资料；

确定废物的来源、数量及类型，确定废物削减的目标，制定经济有效的削减废物产生的对策；

Clean production audit is a systematic process to analyse and implement pollution sources, courses resulting in wastes and solution to deal with them. It aims, by analyzing and evaluating pollution sources prevention, to help enterprise in seeking the methods to use resources(raw materials and accessories, energy and water, etc.) in a highly effective way as possible as it can and reducing or eliminating the generation and release of wastes.
